I bought this chair for my husband to replace an old plain chair with wheels. It was supposed to be a significant upgrade that would help alleviate leg and back pain. Great chair - very comfortable to sit in, wheels spin smoothly. However, there are some caveats. Assembly PROS * Instructions are clear * All parts are neatly and securely packaged. * The Allen key provided is all you need. Assembly CONS * Attaching the backrest of the chair is a job for 2 people * There the backrest only rests on 4 screws. * These screws are difficult to align correctly * The screws tend to strip * The protective caps that cover the screws are made of cheap plastic. Ready Chair PROS * Aesthetically pleasing * Easy to swivel * Very comfortable to sit on * Sturdy, wide seat to accommodate either my husband's toothpick or my rounder frame. * Supportive; Helps relieve back/leg pain. Finished chair MINUSES * armrests and foot "sharp" and "hard". It hurts to accidentally connect. * Even a fully adjusted chair hardly wobbles. Final Thoughts We paid $155 for this chair, excluding shipping and taxes. We would like some of the disadvantages listed above not to be present in something like this. Still, it's a great chair. My husband said he felt instant relief [for his back and legs] from sitting in it. We're still happy, we just wish it was a little bit better.
