Review on πŸ“Ί Sanus Premium Universal 3-Stud Heavy Duty Tilting Wall Mount for Large TVs - Fits 50-120 inch Flat Screens - Low Profile - Easy Installation - UL Safety Tested - VMPL3-B1 by Greg Princeking

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality Reliable - Good Quality - Needs fine tuning

I have used it to mount a 65" Plasma TV (Heavy 125lb Plasma) and feel comfortable with it securely mounted TV very well. The Sanus mount comes with pretty good instructions (which makes it a very good guide compared to the typical instructions I've seen in boxes.) The box comes with many different types of parts to complete the installation to enable on many types of televisions. The VMPL3 is on 3 studs and uses an inclined mount (there is also a low profile mount available). My only gripe and reason for the -1 star is that this unit requires precise height adjustment to ensure the TV is positioned correctly is. Attachment, it turned out to be a little uneven. Although I installed the center screw first and measured several times, it was still slightly level. Instead of re-drilling, we adjusted the height of the hooks. Which surprisingly took several attempts to remove, adjust, reinstall the TV. Adjusting the micro-height at this point would be a boon. Another thing I found odd is that the B-pillar section is about 3/8" from the wall, which is odd because if you over-tighten the retaining screw, it will warp the bracket (which is in the Instructions are clear, don't overtighten) Overall, you get what you pay for, and here you pay for quality.

Pros
  • TV Mounts, Stands & Turntables
Cons
  • Slightly Torn
