This is a good little tripod for indoor use. Unfortunately, there is no way to adjust the bottom of the tripod for outdoor use on uneven ground. There were no instructions and it took me a while to figure out how to attach the I-Pad to the mount. When I found out, it was safe. Although the tripod itself fits in a carry case, the mount does NOT fit there so it sticks out at the top of the case. The assembly caused another difficulty. One of the parts was so tight I thought it was defective. It didn't appear to be any smaller than the part it was meant to fit. I had to make a lot of effort to insert it into the ground. I decided to keep it because it was cheap but I need to find a better one that suits my needs for more versatile use.
