I don't usually mind loud toys. My kids have a few musical instruments that they play all day and all sorts of regular electronic noise cancellers. But that's the worst. It simply plays its low, growling sound on an endless, unchanging loop. The kids turn it on and it keeps playing until the batteries die - because obviously they just walk out of the room and never turn it off; that's what children do. If there was some kind of timer or something to tell when the kid stopped playing with it I'm sure everything would be fine. Only give it to children whose parents you hate.
