The size is exactly as described, the quality is excellent. I didn't buy it for my neck as I knew it would be too small (my neck is almost 17 inches long) but it's perfect as a fun piece to wear around your biceps. I wanted real leather and this is what you need. The bolts are also of good quality - not the ones that screw in. They are permanently embedded in the skin. If you are purchasing this item, simply measure where you will be wearing it first. It doesn't fit my neck, but that's not what I bought it for.
