Great monitor at a good price

I needed a workhorse monitor to work from home so I was thrilled to be able to purchase this HP monitor. Physically it has a really solid stand and allows you to adjust the monitor up and down as well as tilt it, which is nice. The connection supports HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C. I've always been afraid to interact with the monitor's controls, but HP has a rather innovative "joystick" on the back of the monitor. A few minutes with it and changing inputs or settings is very easy. I spent a lot more time on the settings because of the ease of use. As for the actual display, I'm very happy with it. It plays 4K and with my MacBook Pro it was pretty much plug and play. At the moment I'm using a USB-C connection, but I've also tried HDMI and Displayport and they look good too. I would just say that despite its good design, the monitor body feels cheap. so I'm concerned about durability. It just doesn't seem durable, like a hit might just break it. Other than that, it's a good monitor with plenty of connectivity options and built-in bells and whistles. This is definitely one of the best monitors I've ever used. heard.

Pros
  • โ€ŽHP
Cons
  • Flickering: If the monitor's refresh rate is too low, the display may flicker.
