This laptop is lightning fast. The trackpad is precise and smooth, and mostly tolerates palm movement while typing. Along with the high screen refresh rate, web page scrolling is very smooth. I only have three problems with this laptop and if you use it for gaming you don't care: 1. The number pad on the keyboard is very cramped. The keys are smaller than the rest of the keyboard. Not only does this make the number pad itself almost unusable, but it also takes up space from the rest of the keyboard, shifting it to the left. While I like the trackpad's performance, its placement is downright impractical. As a right-handed person, I feel noticeable fatigue in my hand and wrist after about 30 minutes of use.3. The laptop sucks the air out from underneath and the fans are positioned so that when you place the laptop on your lap, they are both blocked by your feet. Now you won't be playing with the laptop on your lap, so the fans won't be working too hard in such a scenario, but I'm still concerned about the durability of the laptop if it's used a lot on your lap (which I really am like to do). Of course you can use the laptop tray, but the considerable weight of this laptop makes it seem bulky.
