Totally unimpressed

Looks and feels average. The flexibility is more than I would wish for in a lathe. The material from which the lathe part is made is not suitable for the job for which it is being sold. When I first used it the cutting edge of the lathe melted and curled giving me a brown bead on the working end. I only set the pan to 1/3 power so I wouldn't cook the pancakes too quickly. The manufacturer needs to find a plastic with a higher melting point to use as part of the lathe. NOT recommended for advertised use.
