I have an old Trek bike (about 15 years old) and don't have the right holes to buy and attach other racks so I decided to try this as a last try . Before that I used one of the ones that attaches to a bike seatpost but it didn't work like I was hoping because I'm short so 1) the post mount meant I had to sit higher than I'm comfortable with . , & 2) If my bar slipped down, the bar would squeak against my hoop. THIS STAND IS AMAZING! It holds a ton of weight and fits in one basket for all my books, baby clothes, groceries and anything else I need to carry around! Thanks for the great solution!
