i wore them tobogganing and they were perfect when we pulled the sled uphill
i used them for the first time 2 weeks ago in the time of our first snow. We didn't really have ice to test but I wore them when we sled and they were perfect when we sled up the mountain. I never lost my footing. I gave 4 stars because I think they are a bit big. I really could wear a size smaller. But I was happy with my performance in my first time trial. I would recommend these!
