We have a 13 week old German Shepherd puppy. I bought this item because she keeps putting her paws in her water bowl and turning it over. It seemed like a great product to get around this, and in fact it is. The problem is that my dog was too smart and figured out in 5 minutes that if he stuck his paw further in, the water would run out. She then decided that if she continued like this (which it did) it would eventually flip, so she used some of the pieces as chew toys. The product will be destroyed within 20 minutes. Not the manufacturer's fault! The dog outwitted the designer. Maybe she should be hired to help them make an (impossible) product that can't be used the way she intended. Again a great product but not for our pup. Maybe we'll buy her again when she grows up!
