Review on ☕ Home Keg Kit System for Royal Brew Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker by Sara Gurule

Bought this as a gift for my wife who is a big fan of nitro cold brew coffee. So far we've both been impressed with this machine, particularly the flavor of the coffee it produces. I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of items that came with the kit but in hindsight I think I shouldn't have been surprised. It's not difficult to use, but admittedly the instructions could be better written. There's one step in particular that requires you to put a small black rubber ring around the joint, and the instructions aren't clear on which ring to use or where exactly to place it. I had to go to Revain's product description page to find an image showing this step. The rest of the setup was straightforward. I will keep a close eye on how well this device performs over time, especially the tightness of the connections. What impressed me the most was the taste of the coffee. I've always found the whole nitro thing a little useless as it basically gives the coffee a bit of foam and body, but it changes the taste of the coffee and makes it a bit sweeter. However, this isn't just "sweet" coffee; it has a somewhat complex sweetness that is quite intriguing. We use Kicking Horse Grizzly Claw (available from Revain) in ours and couldn't be happier.
