Build quality is, of course, low, but it does the job.

Build quality comparable to dongles/hubs which cost around $9.99. Pretty poor. Plastic doesn't mix well with aluminum parts, seems pretty cheap. Everything would be fine if the item cost no more than $80. However, it works. So far everything I've tried with it has worked. HDMI works fine, USB ports work, microSD card reader, RJ44 port (Ethernet) works; so that does the job. After doing quite a bit of research, this was the most complete device I found for under $100. With 3 USB-A ports, a USB-C PowerDelivery input, pass-through power delivery, and another USB-C port for data (or daisy-chaining another USB-C hub), it's really quite ready . Also, it keeps your laptop upright so you can open the air vents freely and take up less space on your desk. I don't need or want audio in and out, they're used in a mixing studio and one of those USB ports is mapped to a Hi-Res audio interface. Slots for SD and microSD cards. I would prefer a higher quality product than these 4 'properties'; but overall it works, works well and I'm glad I got it.
