So my son is about 44 inches tall and wears 5t in Cat and Jack, 6 in Lucky, 5s in Levi's…. Those brands don't make sense to me haha. So I got 6 Slim with them. The length is long but frankly great and there is room to grow. But the waist is huge. Remember my son is thin and tall. They climb that high too. I know you saw them under my son's belly button in the photo, but I'm pretty sure they reach his lower abdomen. I told myself his shirts would only hide her size. I leave them if I take 5 Slim they might be too short where they are only this season. For the price they are great but just know that these are not waist jeans, they are belly jeans.
