These brushes stand as expected but wobble a bit and knock over others when lined up and even the smallest ones fall over. It's a nice "feature" but doesn't really turn into anything special. I consider myself a beginner when it comes to makeup as I pretty much stick to one neutral look I can do. I would like to get better, but it doesn't come naturally to me. Anyway, I've always used elf brushes before, which have worked well for many years. I thought I would order these to improve my game and I will see a huge improvement. The first thing I noticed was that the bristles were so soft and I loved the color. When I first started using them, I didn't notice much of a difference between my regular brushes and these. Also, the softness wasn't that noticeable when applied. In general, there are other starter kits that are more valuable.
