NEW UPDATE: I've reordered these based on the first batch I received. Wow, the new replacement batch is similar to the first dozen I ordered and left such positive feedback. I have raised my rating to 4 stars. Apparently the quality control of the production is very inconsistent. But this set is just as good as the first. Now I have as many as I need, they are all good and I am happy again. UPDATE: I originally gave this item a 5-star rating. I liked them so much that I immediately ordered another set. The second set was so disappointing that I am returning it. The hats were much larger (on my adult head, although the brim is ridiculously small on an adult) and not children's. One star was off center, the other fell off all the way. However, they are not suitable for small children, mainly because of their loveless size. If I could get a second batch like the first one, which I raved about, I'd happily order again. WARNING: You risk uneven quality. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was delighted to see these at such a great price (1 dozen for $20) and thought they would be making cute kids gifts for the catered family barbecue next week. I was planning on giving them out to little kids under 5, but after seeing (and trying on) them today I figured some older kids might want them too, so ordered another batch. The quality is not perfect but MUCH better than I expected even after reading the positive reviews. One hat out of 12 had a small slit in the color tie, but the straw weave was soft and intact on all hats and they looked quite cute. Each hat has a multicolored drawstring inside (feels like cotton) so you can keep it on if you wish. The kids will be delighted, I'm glad I stumbled across them!
