This Craftsman tape measure is very similar to the comparable Milwaukee, which makes me wonder who makes them both. The tape seems to be quite strong and has rubber protection in various places so it will probably hold up well. There's also a "lifetime" warranty - not to be confused with the "old" craftsman warranty when Sears made them. That old warranty was pretty solid - if it broke you got a new one. They come with a warranty against defects - that's another matter. They claim to be the standout 13ft tool - I've tried it a few times and it stood out on the 13ft about 50% of the time. Decent tool, but quite expensive. I've been a contractor for several years and tape measures are a big part of our job. I'm not sure I'd shell out $26 for it in a professional setting.
