Torras came out of nowhere but my mum's last phone case was Torras and it lasted great for two years. When I got my new S21 I wanted something relatively clear to show off. I chose Spigen liquid crystals because I've been buying their cases for years and they tend to be pretty good and cheap. However, after 4 months it was already quite yellow and I wasn't a big fan of the camera/flash cutouts. The flash dissipated through the cutout in the transparent case, painting the whole thing an ugly neon yellow. Camera cutouts also made my phone cheap. I'd really like to show my phone in a clear case, but I prefer black frames to a clear one that turns yellow after such a short time. Enter the translucent black Torras case. This piece knocks him out of the park with precise cutouts and a modern bezel design. Unlike my Spigen, the back bezel goes inward and the translucent black panel stays closer to the phone than the edge of the bezel. This means when you lay your phone on its back, only the bezel touches the surface. This not only protects the camera, flash and hard back, but also makes the phone thinner in the hand. Speaking of the hand, the back and sides of the phone are very nice. The best description I have is an ultra-fine roughness that's not exactly smooth. This makes the case feel very classy and silky and also has a great grip. Even the buttons feel very tactile and responsive. This is hands down the best phone case I have ever fitted to a phone I have owned at a fraction of the cost of many major brand cases which have the poorest build/design/feel. If they had a translucent white version of this case to match my white S21 I would buy it in a heartbeat. An outstanding phone case, Torras has won a long-time customer.
