Review on Zig INPK 002 Brush Lettering Practice by Wendy Rodriguez

I originally ordered this because I thought the chisel tip water brush was super chic and wanted to try it, but when I received the set I was immediately drawn to water - based practice pages. One of the pages has the full alphabet and the other has a few letter shapes but mostly blank spaces with ruled lines so you can practice what you are working on. When water hits them, it leaves a trail. Then, when the water dries, the marks disappear and the sheet becomes clean again. Thing is, the leaves are amazingly smooth, and there's something about the water brush painting that's incredibly calming and beautiful. I am an artist, I have painted on many different surfaces using a variety of brushes, pencils and paints and I have never felt like using a water brush on the surface of these practice sheets. Not only did I do calligraphy, but I also spent a lot of time just painting and drawing on leaves, making huge organic designs and just relaxing in the most peaceful way, which shocked me a little. I wish Zig would release more of this with different types and designs of water brushes and sides. I would prefer one just for painting (with a fine tipped water brush) and one with a dot grid or mandala guide.
