The extensions were installed by my mechanic. I initially liked these extensions because they saved me from an airbag in my Subaru. On the second day, the brake extension stayed depressed and the throttle extension rolled over. The design of the brake extension allows for a bolt long enough to grip the Weathertech mat when the brake is fully applied. After cutting Weathertech's top quarter, this no longer happens. The accelerator pedal still turns because the nuts on the bolt loosen; If it happens again, I'll throw the extenders in the trash!
