Review on 🛒 1750W-1 Mounted Chrome Shelf by Organize It All – 26" W x 11.25" L x 7.5" H by Patrick Freddie

I bought this to replace some of the free standing hooks I used to hang towels in the bathroom. I got tired of towels being slow to dry (and becoming uncomfortable) and then having to go to the linen closet to get a new one. I read the reviews and saw reports of rust but had already placed an order and was concerned so I did a little research and found a motorcycle forum where people were discussing how to prevent rust on their chrome. Her answer: Wipe the chrome surfaces vigorously with aluminum foil and effectively passivate the surface. Because aluminum is much softer than chrome, it won't scratch the surface. So I just wiped all the parts with aluminum foil before assembling it. Should rust appear in the future I will update this review. My shelf is right next to the shower and the bathroom stays reasonably damp but I haven't seen any rust spots in 4 months.
