I was so excited to gift this to my husband as a Christmas gift and I was sorely disappointed to see him open it with damage to the wood, a chip is taken out. Additionally the turn table was loose and not even sealed to the inside of the case, showing wires. We later noticed that a screw is missing as there is a hole for a screw. When we finally closed the case to plug it in we noticed that the case does does not close all the way nor latch.Once we finally placed our vinyl we were excited to listen to the music…. again a disappointment as the sound quality was not up to par. I wish I would have seen the previous reviews regarding sound quality, and the quality of the case. Although beautiful and the wood work is great im disappointed in the lack of detail in the mechanics, construction of the vinyl player and the poor quality check before sending to customers.
