I have an old car that doesn't get much use but when it does it is mostly off-road and/or at night so I wanted to upgrade the halogen bulbs that kept burning out are. I went with these bulbs and while they were pretty bright, the light pattern was pretty weird no matter how long I played with them. No matter how I turned them (according to the manual), nothing helped. I've just spent 8 hours in the car on a night drive and when I got to my destination I ordered another brand to replace because the low beam was disappointing and the high beam was useless. After replacing them with another brand, I wish I had done it sooner. I don't know if my car only needs 9004 bulbs or if the car itself is that old, but I would suggest looking elsewhere to see if 9004 is what your car needs.
