These were received in two days from order. I ordered two for my mid-high hiking boots and two for my higher boots. The product is well made with solid wood and metal shaft and workings. The handle is plastic, but just take a little care when tightening. I paid more for a good, solid stretcher as they will have to withstand some heavy pressure. Plastic would never do.The results in the first 8 hours were remarkable. I broke one foot one year the the other the next. I set the first myself, but the second resulted in some crooked toes which are making the toe box too tight. The shoes and boots are too expensive to get rid of and this was a better solution. I didn't use the spray they recommend, but instead used Meguire's Leather cream to soften the leather. I like this cream on my hiking boots because it cleans and protects the leather. Worked perfectly. I will probably reapply cream and stretch for, maybe a couple of days, to get them where I want them.Thank you to the prompt delivery from vendor. All received in perfect condition.This is a blessing 'cause if I can't walk without discomfort, I'm done. I like to camp and hike in the winter. I will surely be ready by then.
