This is my first angle finder, so I have no comparison. , soft carry/storage case, one AAA battery and instruction manual. The instructions are clear and concise and the display is easy to read. The bottom is magnetized. It doesn't make it any less readable when I attach it to the saw blade to check for squareness. The display is large and clear enough to read well from the side. I find it very sensitive to movement and have learned to deal with it. Can't tell if it's a battery hog yet as I have a habit of removing batteries from every item I put away after use. This is because several TV remote controls have been damaged due to battery leakage. I live in the tropics and that's pretty common. So far I have no complaints or regrets.
