If you are not familiar with smart charger technology, read about it. These chargers contain a sensor for batteries that are sulfated and need to be refreshed or desulfated. This is necessary to extend battery life. Batteries can last up to three times longer when sulfation is eliminated. This desulfation process is automatic and requires no user action. I have several brands of smart chargers with desulfation capability. However, this Suuwer also charges LiFePO4 batteries. These batteries are becoming increasingly popular in certain applications, but not all 12V chargers can handle LiFePO4. Suuwer charges both. I like the LED lighting feature, but I wish the Suuwer had a digital battery level indicator. I have other chargers and it's nice to see if the battery is 89% charged or what percentage is charged. It's more than just an LED. I deducted a star because this charger is only rated for 12v so no 6v option. This charger also has a fixed charge rate which is good for large batteries but for smaller batteries like motorcycles it is preferable to use less current to use for loading. Therefore, if you need additional current and voltage settings and only want to charge lead-acid batteries, use a different brand of charger. If a fixed voltage of 12V and a current of 5A suits you and you may need to charge LiFePO4 batteries, buy them.
