So I mounted it on a 2003 Road King. The brake lever has a tab that should rest against the master cylinder piston. The problem I had was that the tab was too big and when installed actually pushed down on the piston just enough to put pressure on the brakes. As soon as the brake fluid heated up from friction and expanded due to the lever pushing on the piston a little, my brakes would lock up. Push the plunger until I push the lever. ENSURE that no pressure is applied to the master cylinder piston when installing this product. This problem can lead to locking of the brakes and unpleasant consequences.
