When you need to replace your alternator (usually because the voltage regulator is starting to fail) you should consider purchasing this NEW unit rather than a remanufactured alternator. The quality far exceeded my expectations and the power is the same at all RPMs. The price is INCREDIBLE compared to some remanufactured units, especially when you shop at your local auto shop where the core charge is almost half the cost of this alternator! We are very satisfied!
