LOVE this hammock so much I just bought a second one! I first purchased this hammock for a camping trip in April 2017 as an early Father's Day gift for my son. It served very well for that camping trip, both for the adults and the kids who used it more as a swing. It was used for outings since then until last summer when they moved into a house with trees to attach it to. They left it up day in and day out, with sun / rain exposure and use every day. Two adults, and three kids (2-8) plus two large dogs sometimes piled in. 700ish lbs? Lots of memories had in this hammock. It did give out recently and the fabric ripped. I believe because of the daily exposure and don't consider it weak in anyway. I was so satisfied with the original purchase that I purchased the same exact hammock to gift to my son again for Father's Day this year. We did purchase additional straps separately for the extra length and strength.
