I love this hat! It's a bit thinner than I expected, but given the nature of the material, should keep you warm enough. If I think it's going to be particularly colder than a normal snowy day, I can always put a hat on him or his hood (which I usually do with regular hats). It fits my 2 year old very well, not tight but not loose either. Just close to his face to stay warm. I love that it covers his neck! It also has some stretch so it might fit next year too! I wish I had something similar for my eldest when they were little!
