Yes, after a few days in the sun the yellow-green tint of the liquid becomes noticeable, but I can still clearly see the bubbles. I attached it to the tongue of my caravan with 3M tape and it works great. I can see if I'm aligned side to side and front to back (I use a 2ft level on the floor just to check). It helps to see where I am on the tongue bushing so I can adjust the front a bit higher to allow my air conditioning to drain out the back instead of the side of my RV awning.
