Although this product worked with my new custom P4 2.8GHz and my old custom PII400, it failed miserably with the P133 gateway and the same PII400. The mouse was not recognized on the gateway, the keyboard did not work with a mouse connected to the KVM, and the monitor went black with every key press, even after removing the mouse. I've tried several different configurations, even different mice, with no success. I took it to work where I have 2 PII400 gateways and it didn't work with them either. Before blaming Gateway, I bought a $50 IO Gear KVM with an audio jack. We have IO Gear 4 port switches with great success. IO Gear 2 port mini KVM worked flawlessly. The LinkSys site doesn't even list KVM as a product they sell. Stay away from it.
