I've been wearing various suspenders for a long while and one of my pet peeves is the clip slipping off my pants.Pros:So far these have not slipped off my pants due to the clevis type of belt loop holder but there are negatives!Cons:For one, when you pull them up over your shoulders they can twist easily on any strap and it takes a bit to untwist them.Secondly, as others have said, they have light duty elastic and,Finally, as the pictures between these new suspenders and some of my inexpensive clip on suspenders show is that they crimp the elastic on these clevis type suspenders for the adjuster vs. sewing it on my clip on ones. The is light duty metal as well and as you can see I have already had to re-crimp the new ones.Bottom Line: They get two stars in my book for lack of strength and the elastic slipping out of the adjustment. That is worse than the clip slipping because I don't usually carry a crimping pliers with me - Ha!
