Good product for the price

Each of these candles require two AA batteries. I bought a cheap box of Kodak AA batteries at Walmart for 2.30 for 20. These are pretty bad batteries, so it's hard to say exactly how much power they're using. I will try Duracell in the near future. Here are some of the details I've tried to explain in previous reviews: - The remote control comes with a battery so it's ready to use right out of the box. - The remote control has several time intervals. Settings like 2am, 4am etc. This will keep the candles lit for the set time and then come back on at the same time each day for that length of time. For example, at 6:00 p.m., press 2 a.m., the candles will turn on at 6 a.m. and off at 8 a.m. every day. By pressing the "Candle" button, they flicker. They all appear to be in the same cycle, but the flickering cycles back and forth between them after a few moments. If the candles are timed and flickering, they will not flicker on their own when turned back on. I want this option to be remembered. My candles are set to go on at 6pm and I have to press candle every day to reset the flickering. - Brightness settings are pretty versatile. - Candles look cheap/fake from above. But from the front/side or below they look very high quality and realistic. I would not recommend them for a dining table. Instead, they will look great on a mantel or fireplace. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I will replace the batteries with better ones and will update my review soon.
