I purchased a switch with the intention of playing it both at home with my five-year-old and on the commute to work. Both objectives have been accomplished. The console is fantastic for games with a child if you can play games on the go on your phone. To start, the joycons are little and much more comfy for a child's hand than the same controller. Second, every Nintendo exclusive features recognizable, kid-friendly cartoon designs. Well, there was a chance to play in the fantastic Mario and Zelda series. The aesthetics are obviously very unique, and I had to get used to them, but the gameplay in these games is fantastic. I would absolutely add a switch to my collection rather than use one in place of a curling iron or Xbox. Also, there was a period when I missed Vita.
