This one-way valve saved me. I have a pump under my sink to increase the pressure from reverse osmosis to my fridge. It turns on for 1 second every 5-10 minutes. It became like nails on a board to me. I knew that somehow the pressure in the line dropped, causing the pump to start. I could never find a leak so my only thought was back pressure flowing through the pump. I added this one way valve in front of the pump and it miraculously stopped. My nightmares have stopped and now I sleep through the night.
