This has turned out to be a really good purchase, especially if you like bathing. At first I was hesitant to buy it as the price seemed a bit high to me. I also considered just buying the standard version instead of the deluxe version. Since the price difference is not that big, I decided to go with the apparently better version. I think it was the right decision. I can't comment on the standard as I've never used it. However, the deluxe version is a must. A few months ago my husband was in an accident and a hot bath relieves back pain (of course with regular doctor visits including therapy and chiropractic care). The tub's hard surface made it uncomfortable for him to stay in it for long periods of time. When he tried to put it on the bathtub and take a normal bath, he could stay in the bathtub much longer. . I've tried it myself and it's really handy. The suction cups are also of the best quality. Try not to pull the mat to remove it from the tub. The suction cups are so strong that just pulling the mat can tear it. I always had to detach the suction cups from the tub myself. We also don't have hooks in the tub, so after use we rinsed them out and taped them back to the wall to dry.
