I bought these speakers to listen to my podcasts in the shower/bath. While they're meant to be submerged in water (10 minutes max I believe), I don't. But they get very wet! No problem! I only have one of these, but the sound quality is so great that even with classical music I still enjoy the powerful orchestral sound. Of course I'm also happy when I hear ELP or Supertramp or one of the hits from the 60s and 70s! By the way, you can play quite loud. I've never had to turn up the volume! The Boom app has a great graphic equalizer that lets you turn your speakers on and off remotely. It's never lost connection with my iPhone, and I love the auto-off feature that saves battery power when not in use. By the way because of the battery. Oh my God! It lasts a long time, and of course, given its capacity, it takes a long time to charge (read their specs). It also comes with its own charger and USB cable. I'm sure others have written about the possibility of pairing two of these together for stereo sound. I'm happy with one as well (it plays both right and left channels together for a mono performance).
