I put a little in every lotion I use. Sometimes I change the lotion I use, but I always add an oil gel. This oil gel keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day. Usually most lotions, creams and body oils seem to absorb completely into my skin and dry out again soon after. Not with this or any oil gel. I put a lotion I like to smell on my hand and add a little oil gel. Then I rub my hands together to blend them and rub them in. The lotion will help the oil gel spread a little easier. In addition, the oil gel has no particular smell.
