Driving on the Autobahn with the cup holder and vacuum mug gone. Looking at the first secure stopping point, the screw holding the swivel seems to have loosened and the entire assembly has come loose from the bracket. Luckily, my passenger only got a surprise and a pair of moderately wet jeans, and the trailer behind me seemed to make up for everything else before it could do any more damage. It looks like the problem could have been prevented with a screw lock during assembly. I plan to remove the passenger cup holder from the bike just in case.
