So far the first one I've used broke what looks like rust after about 5 cups of coffee. So, as I said, one star until further notice. Maybe he was a failure. Just take a look. Follow up rating: Well I went through ALL the filters and each showed what I think is rust. I do not know why. metal in the filter? I've never heard of rust on charcoal. So I would not recommend these filters.
