They aren't made right
This is the worst bunch of zip ties I've ever bought. I use them to thread round patio lights along a chain link fence. The smooth side of the tie is on the wrong side, so when pulled through the slit, they fall out immediately. I don't hang anything heavy. Choose another brand, spend $1 more and buy good ones that are made right.
