Review on Computer case Thermaltake Versa H18 black by Agata Wydra ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

All shortcomings are subjective, they do not bother me. I recommend the case to people who value minimalism and compactness. More about cons: Magnetic grids have too large holes, dust flies into the case without any problems. Because of this, the acrylic window actively collects particles on itself, forming dust spots from the inside. They say that acrylic is very scratched when wiped with a rag, keep in mind. 2.5" and 3.5" drives are attached to the case through soft rubber pads, to the side wall of the case and from top to bottom in the power supply bay, respectively. Protection on HDD 2.5" works fine, only its inner workings can be heard. However, when I launched the HDD 3.5", I went nuts from the hum throughout the room, as if the case resonated with it. It was the top mount, I didn’t try it on the bottom, it would be better. I use SSD and HDD 2.5 "on the side wall, they work quietly, they do not create problems. When I screwed the mATX motherboard, I had to unscrew the "leg" for the ATX board, which was already in the case. It was tightly tightened, I had to use pliers, because of which the leg itself and the place under it were left without paint. If you plan to put the case under the table on the left, then this option will not suit you because of the easily pressed power button, you will constantly touch it with your foot. Pros: The body is simple in style, there is a blue backlight in the form of a strip under the power button, it can be turned on or off with the LED button on the front panel. Everything fit inside, nothing superfluous or missing. The built-in fan provides good ventilation. The metal is good, thick steel is not needed here, but it cannot be said that parts of the body are deformed from a light touch.

Pros
  • Appearance, compactness, ergonomics, excellent ventilation, good metal, stable rubberized legs, built-in blower fan, convenient hard drive mounts, many holes for cable management
Cons
  • Acrylic window, useless vibration protection for HDD 3.5", useless dust protection, paint easily peels off under the screws when tightening hard, power button on the top right of the case
