This bell is well made with lots of nice details. The spine is a peal of bells. It's strong, heavy, and slightly larger than most other bells. You can see the size comparison in the photo. I bought it for my son who is an avid motorcyclist. He was hit by a pickup truck that was changing lanes and his leg was pinched between his Harley's engine and the truck's front wheel. He underwent multiple surgeries and was unemployed for 6 months. These bells are meant to guard and protect the rider. I know it's just superstition, but with the two consecrated crosses on the keychain and that little bell, it gives mom hope. lol!
