Item received exactly as described. The buttons are hard plastic rather than soft rubber like the original, which I think would be better as this started to tear on my original key fob. Came with built in battery and ready to use. Extremely easy to program on my 2015 GMC Yukon XL Denali. The key must already be programmed to your vehicle in the vehicle (drink holder/passenger seat etc.). Simply insert the cut out key (which you already have and which fits your car) in the driver's door. Spin counterclockwise 5 times within 10 seconds. The dashboard turns on. Use the new key fob in the key fob holder in the center console to press the start/stop button. When finished, press and hold the start/stop button for 12 seconds. That's all. Now it works with your car!
