When I opened the packaging, I immediately noticed that this is not real "wax thread" as is otherwise used. It literally feels like someone took an iron and lots of starch that smells strongly of it! You're wrapped in a cheap garbage bag. Still, I wanted to try it as it was part of my family gifts. Spring. There is no stretching or deformation, it immediately starts to crack and wear out before I even try to put the bead on. Another oddity is, the longer I sit here, the more they open and unfold. It's like they were packed and shipped so tightly that they ripped. I also assumed they were locally made but they were shipped from China as you can see from the little sticker on the plastic bag. If you are a crafter who wants to make quality products or gifts, I highly recommend you skip this one! The only thing that still comes to mind is that I may have gotten a "bad batch". However, I failed to mention that I am currently looking for a local product or small business to help. Definitely will be back.
