I am giving this review 2 stars because the seller refunded my money on time. Otherwise I do not recommend this product. This jug is very thin. It's so thin that when I washed it I was always afraid it would break in my hands. When I finally stirred with a plastic spoon, a large chunk flew out. My product was 18 months old (warranty 24 months). I have never put it on the stove or burner. I used it to make iced tea so I just poured hot water in. I also never subjected it to extreme temperature changes like adding ice cubes when it was hot. This is a lot lighter use than the description says the product can handle. UPDATE: After this critical review, the seller contacted me several times. Even though they have already refunded my money, they offer to refund the purchase price again if I remove the review. They also offer an additional $5 to remove a negative review. Basically, they pay to remove bad reviews. Revain should not tolerate this type of manipulation and consumers should be aware that this is happening.
