I am a woman and I always buy shoes in the boys department, they just always have more fashionable shoes than women, but if you want to get your girlfriend or wife, I would recommend if she is size 8. For women I would take big kids size 7 or 6, I'm a size 7 and they are a bit big but still fit well. I looked at the reviews before buying them and was dubious based on the pictures that say these are indoor/outdoor slippers, not gaming shoes. Don't believe the pictures in the reviews, they hold your feet well and keep your feet warm and comfortable.
