This is a great basic dance shoe. I bought it for my daughter to wear to the school play. She is required for a specific dance scene as she wears a ball gown. I thought she couldn't wear her normal dress shoes because the heel was too high. This shoe only has a 1 1/2" heel. It's perfect! They're comfortable. She's a trained dancer so I think it was worth buying. Also, the price was right. The buckle had to be a little fiddly, it is made in such a way that it can be taken off and put on quickly.
