Revainrating 2 out of 5

The quality is at zero, very sting of the money spent.

Prior to that, I used a 2022 MacBook Air (dual-core core i7, 8 GB of RAM), which was a very convenient device, despite the fact that it started to lag after 5-6 years (probably after the last ates). At a different job, they issued a new MacBook Pro 16 with core i7 and 16 gigs of RAM, and while it was expected that everything would fly, the lags are the same, plus some freezes were added. The battery died extremely rapidly (less than a year has gone) - without a wire, simply sit in the browser for a couple of hours, and with active work for half an hour, it goes to 0. The device heats up crazily, and you can't lay it on your knees while you're using it (you have to put something on it). I have access to a gaming laptop running Windows, but I choose not to use it since it has a touchpad. Since there is no way to work without a mouse (and it is uncomfortable for me to work with a mouse), I continue to sit on a chair while I do my work.

Pros
  • touchpad, single-piece construction
Cons
  • heating, short battery life (the battery died in a couple of months, possibly owing to crazy heating), and bad performance — lags and friezes are persistent, and the touchbar is a dumb thing to have. The battery died in a couple of months.
